The first day riding to work with the new baffles in and some person pulled out in front of me to turn into the gas station.
Needless to say I rode a 30 foot skid. Barely missing the car.
Now the tire is not holding air. I was going to replace it this season any way.

So I ordered a new AV72 rear tire.
224 delivered.

How many miles on the bike? Good time to replace wheel bearings. Big Dog recommends replace every 10,000 miles.

Close call, might want to reconsider that front brake, but I'll let someone else tell you that :D

if ya get the numbers off the old brgs, go to a local bearing house, they can get you good made in the usa bearings. they will probably be cheaper than the dealers price. that is what i do and have had great success in quality and pricing. if you have no numbers, they can also get the correct bearings from dimensions. hope this helps.........

The correct bearing you need is a 6205 RS-16 and you can buy the cheap jap bearings for about $8.00 each or the american made Timken-Fafnir bearing for about $22.00 each. You need 3 bearings for the rear wheel. Bearing services sells both. Just make sure they don't try to sell you a 6205 RS bearing which is a 25 mm ID because you need the -16 which is a 1 inch ID bearing.

Second that one! Don’t buy BDM bearings they are junk! I changed all my bearings and both tires, put the regular Avon on the front and the new Venom Cobra on the rear. All in labor and all was $500.00 I took them the wheels….
