Hi, my name is Duke. I am from Pennsylvania. I am 58 years old, sometimes feel 90, and have been riding on my own since I was 12. First ride I was 7 and went for a ride with my brother on his new 1958 FLH pan. That was it I was hooked. My brother would take me riding for hours around the countryside here in the mountains of north east Pa almost every weekend. That is when his wife would let him. My mother was not to happy about our going but she knew my brother was careful. He lived next door to my mom and dad an I thank GOD we had that time together because He died of a heart attack when he was only 42. I was just 21 at the time and at least he got to ride my first new bike I ever bought and loved it. It was a 1972 Kawasaki 750 triple. It WAS fast. Paid a 1600 dollar loan off in a month and a half street racing corvettes an other muscle cars for money.AH, the good old days.
Now a days I just like to cruise nice and slow and see everything as I go by. Sorry I wrote so much. I lurked in the shadows, pun intended, for a while and I see that I am not the only one who loves to make things for his bike. I have a 1984 shadow VT700C that I am chopping a little at a time.

Welcome Duke.
You don't live to far away from me.
I'm down in Sellersville, just south of Quakertown.
Maybe we will run into each other.

Welcome Duke. I also use to live in PA. I'm from the west side of the state near Pittsburgh. I was just up their a couple weeks ago.
My brother and I went up to Ohio bike week. You have a nice looking bike. I use to have a VTX-1800, it was a nice bike.
I hope you have a good time here.
